We finally arrived in Brisbane! We are all going to work on staying up tonight so that we can get adjusted to the new time zone and not wake up at 2 a.m. We met this "little devil"
at the Carumbin Wildlife Sanctuary which we visited on our first full day in Brisbane.

Well, today begins our Aussie Adventure. Up bright and early and meeting everyone at Detroit Metro Airport. Seventeen students and 9 chaperones--we've got this! First stop Chicago O'Hare, on to LAX, and then from there the real fun begins as we embark on the 14 hour flight to Auckland, New Zealand. Once there we have a brief layover and then a "short" 2-hour flight to Brisbane. Almost an entire day will have already gone by when we finally land in Brisbane. Will post again when we arrive!
